ABOUT US

Nala Community Hospital begun as a small community clinic founded by Dr. Abraham Espira in 1979.  We have grown steadily since then to be one of the best-known hospitals in Western Kenya.  We currently have a 45-bed facility in Kakamega Town focused on women and child healthcare, but also open for all the needs on the community.  We have an inhouse diagnostic laboratory, theatre, dental facility, pharmacy and child ward and offer a full spectrum of healthcare services to all our clients.

At-Cost Healthcare

Nala Community Hospital operates on the principle of offering at-cost healthcare to all our underserved clients.  We also offer private healthcare to a select few customers and accept all forms of health insurance recognized in the country.  We work closely with the Kenya National Health insurance Fund that offers universal healthcare to ensure that everyone is able to take advantage of this in our communities.  We continue to strive to ensure accessible healthcare for all.
